How to better cooperate on migration with African countries. European leaders regularly claim that to better control and organize immigration, Europe should work more closely with countries of origin and transit of migrants, many of which are in Africa. This lecture will present research done on the topic of migration cooperation between Europe and Africa. The presentation will look at how Europe and Africa have cooperated on migration so far, how African governments view migration, and will discuss potential solutions to the current gridlock.
